Located in culturally rich southeastern Michigan, the department has over 100 clinical and research faculty and more than 500 employees in 10 different locations surrounding beautiful Ann Arbor. We are seeking to enhance our faculty by adding positions for members of our oculoplastics service to work in a dynamic and creative academic environment. We are seeking both clinicians and clinician-scientists. Opportunities for partnering with other disciplines exist and the ideal candidate will be interested in innovative program development that addresses the clinical and research needs of our patients. Contributions toward teaching and administration are highly valued.
This position entails providing outstanding care based in Ann Arbor and our surrounding community offices. We welcome applicants to apply who are Board-eligible or certified in ophthalmology and have completed an oculoplastics fellowship. This full-time position is on the clinical track and can be moved to the tenure track for eligible candidates.

Required Qualifications*M.D., hold or have the ability to obtain the appropriate medical licenses in the state of Michigan, and be Board-eligible or Board-certified in Ophthalmology. Evidence of clinical competency and competency in clinical and didactic teaching is also expected. Completed subspecialty fellowship training is highly desirable.

Background ScreeningMichigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
