Clinical Assistant 5297 W Copans Rd, Margate, FL 33063, USA Req #12050 Tuesday, November 5, 2024 Clinical Assistant Duties and Responsibilities + Triages patient calls and facilitates patient inquiries and requests. + Tracking patients’ hospitalization status by communicating with facilities and social work teams. + Communicating professionally and efficiently with physicians to help the clinical team obtain and clarify orders + Facilitates communication between contract vendors and clinical teams and obtains clinical documentation timely + Facilitates the ordering and delivery of supplies to patients' homes. + Completes the required documentation to ensure that all activities are appropriately noted. + Participates in data collection for patient surveys. + Assist the clinical management team in follow-up with nurses regarding documentation and compliance issues. + Performs all related duties to enable the efficient operations of the agency. + Performs all clerical duties necessary to support the efforts of the clinical teams. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred + Excellent customer service skills. + High School Diploma. + Experience in health care or a related field. + Effective verbal and written communication. + Sound judgment and critical thinking abilities. + Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. + Computer literacy. + Bilingual a plus.
