JOB SUMMARY
The Clinic Receptionist (Receptionist - Admitting – Occupational Health) has primary responsibilities to schedule & admit DOC patients for services rendered by either the DOC and/or MMC-D ancillary services in accordance with clinic and individual company protocol, order/enter all necessary tests/procedures, enter charges as incurred, maintain patient charts, verify daily charges, and complete miscellaneous data entry, typing, and filing as needed.

EDUCATION
For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
Minimum Required: High school diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Minimum Required: Must have one year of computer experience. Must have evidence that shows self-sufficient and professional abilities that will function well in developing and maintaining client/patient relationships.
Preferred/Optional: Preference given to candidates with experience in any of the following areas: Physician practices, unit clerk, hospital or clinic registration and scheduling.
