Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Description The RN will assist the provider throughout the clinic with various duties including accurately recording patient history, creating nursing history, monitoring patient medical records, and ensuring compliance with policies and standards. Responsibilities + Accurately record patient history per policy. + Retrieve initial basic condition of patients, create nursing history, and report to the appropriate practitioner. + Monitor and ensure accuracy of recording on patient medical records. + Maintain all required reports, records, statistics, etc. + Ensure an adequate stock of supplies and well-maintained equipment. + Inspect area daily for compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and standards, taking corrective action when necessary. + Schedule all outside patient appointments per physician order and relay accurately to patients. + Take calls from hospitals/nursing homes and relay appropriate information to practitioner in a timely manner. + Assure test results are received and relayed to the patient in a timely manner. + Complete medical orientation checklist. + Initiate appropriate patient education. Essential Skills + Registered Nurse with state of TN or compact state license + BLS Certified + EKG Experience + Experience with medical records and telehealth + Triage skills Additional Skills & Qualifications + Cardiac Experience Preferred Work Environment Office environment with a focus on compliance and patient care.
