Provides leadership, direction, and administration to all aspects of the clinic operations except for those involving professional medical judgment. Reports directly to Operations Manager, Physician Services Department Director and indirect to the Medical Director.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies governing health care delivery and rules of accrediting bodies.Continually monitor operations, programs, physical properties and recommend appropriate changes.Works under the supervision of the Operations Manager and Physician Services Clinic Director in implementing the clinic's long-range plans for the facility.Keeps Management informed about trends, problem, and activities that impact clinic operations or policies.Works with Medical Director, relevant staff other departments prior to recommending or in establishing new policies to ensure support and availability of resources.Directs and supervises clinic activities thru meetings with clinical/ support staff on a regular basis to receive input, discuss opportunities and present reports.Maintains professional affiliations and enhances professional growth and development to keep current in the trends in clinic administration, to include patient flow, collections, staff development training.Resolves medical and or administrative problem and keeps lines of communication open to ensure high employee morale in the clinic environment.Coordinates with Physician Services Management and the Medical Director in an effective effort in recruitment, development, evaluation, and retention of quality Medical/Support staff.Utilization of guest excellence skills at all time and deals with patient complaints according to current Department policies.Monitor staff for exhibiting ADIET skills and provides feedback as needed.Must have the ability to participate in the clinic's budget development and monitor upon implementation.Performs related responsibilities as required or directed.JOB SPEICIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Field or Business Admin /Accounting preferred. High School Diploma requiredLICENSURE, REGISTRATION, CERTIFICATION:
N/AEXPERIENCE:
Prefer 5+ years of experience in Management / Supervision in Healthcare field.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of the principles and practices of health planning and management sufficient to manage, direct and coordinate the operation of a major health care organization.Knowledge of principles and practices of employee development sufficient to ensure organizational productivity. Knowledge of computer programs and applications. Skills in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision making to achieve organizational objectives.Skills in analyzing situations accurately and taking effective action. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employees, policy-making bodies, third-party payers, patients, and the community.Skills in organizing work, making assignments and achieving goals and objectives.Skills in exercising judgment and discretion in developing, applying, interpreting and coordinating departmental policies and procedures. Ability to establish and maintain quality control standards. Ability to organize and integrate organizational priorities and complete deadlines.
