Client Service Leader - Transportation Services
We are able to have this position based in either our Bellevue, WA, Seattle, WA or Portland, OR offices with hybrid work schedule options.

CDM Smith currently has a new opportunity for a Client Service Leader within our West Transportation Group to help grow our transportation practice in the Pacific Northwest. In this position, you will work with a dynamic team to continue building our transportation business. You will lead the development of a business strategy to increase sales with our existing clients and developing new clients. This will include all aspects of transportation planning, design and construction services with technical specialties including corridor planning, urban mobility design (complete streets, BRT, bike/pedestrian, etc), rail planning/design, NEPA/CEQA, water quality, sustainability planning, freight and emerging technology, and other related services. This position leads the business development activities for select clients in the Pacific Northwest region, oversees overall client service, representing CDM Smith in professional organizations, and support sales efforts across the greater West Region. Ideally the candidate would have strong relationships with major transportation agencies in the Seattle area including WSDOT, King County, Port of Seattle, City of Seattle and Sound Transit.


As a member of this team, you would contribute to CDM Smith's mission by:
• Developing new business and maintaining high-value relationships with transportation clients for DOT’s, municipalities, transit, urban port and aviation services in the Pacific Northwest market, and others areas as needed.
• Developing and managing client teams that include project managers, technical specialists, national leaders, as well as junior staff to develop strategic capture plans, proposal efforts, presentations, and other efforts of business development.
• Serving as a key member of our strategy team promoting growth in the Pacific Northwest area as well as supporting other regional growth initiatives.
• Serving as a technical or project lead as needed on projects of significant size and strategic importance.
• Being active in professional societies in which clients or potential clients are members.
• Being a strong leader internally and externally.
