Marsh McLennan South Africa is seeking candidates for Client Executive for our Marsh Multinational Department based in Johannesburg office!

What you need to have:

Successful candidate will be a service oriented individual with high personal standards and a hands-on work style. This position requires an individual who is comfortable working at a varying pace, managing multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously, adjusting priorities often, and managing frequent interruptions.

This position interacts with and provides service to a large Multinationals.  In addition, the following is required unless otherwise noted:

Successful work history to include 5-10 years of service / sales experience

Bachelor degree required.

Must be RE5 and FAIS Compliant.

Proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Office applications is compulsory (i.e.Word, Excel and PowerPoint) with the ability to operate standard office equipment is required.

Ability to make independent decisions and use good judgment in addressing and servicing client and team needs.

Strong communication skills with the ability to provide non-technical explanations to technical matters, and summarize and present information in a clear, concise and accurate written and verbal format.

Demonstrated ability to resolve problems and present results neatly, with clarity and precision in oral and written form.

Maintain a valid Driver’s License & have reliable transportation.

Develop trusted relationships with all Marsh / Correspondent Offices in Africa

Operational

Design compliant insurance solutions for our Multinational Client in Africa

Must be fluent with the renewal, expanded and new business processes.

Active liaisons and engagements with insurance markets is crucial

Identify and develop cross-sell opportunities within book of business to grow revenue in accordance with office business objectives

Active engagements with Marsh Advisory and

Management and coordination of insurance policies for the various countries in Africa

Effective use of Marsh Global Connect is compulsory – all policies to be loaded onto the system

Swift and substantiated escalation of all client service and relationship issues

Effective service and renewal planning to be done 3-6 months prior to renewal date

Day to day management of service deliverables

Compliance with efiling protocols to be adhered

Maintenance and effective updating of Marsh Force

Oversight of invoicing and administration services – as they relate to clients

Support the Multinational Leader in all respects

Prudent management of credit control

Support and mentorship of graduates on the “grow our own initiative”

Active retention of all clients on portfolio

Create an environment oriented to trust, open communication, and cohesive team effort

Facilitate problem solving and collaboration when faced with client difficulties

Focus the team on client requirements, familiarizing them with client specifications, work procedures and processes, quality standards, techniques and tools to support performance

Must be client centric and display the values of honesty and integrity

Financial

Financial (Manage a portfolio of R5 million) reporting to Multinational  Leader 

Achievement of new business revenue targets and expanded revenue  targets

KPI's

100% - compliance with BBE / CFP and all Marsh’s policies & procedures

100% - on time financial reporting

100 % - accurate financial reporting

95% - account retention

Must grow portfolio revenue by 10% (minimum) YOY

Must have RE5 certification

Must have a degree or be studying towards a professional designation

Responsible for new and expanded revenue

Work environment and physical demands

Work is performed in a typical interior/office work environment – compulsory work days must be honoured (Work times from 8 am to 4:30 pm)

May be required to travel on business (as requested by the client)

Extended work hours may be required to meet certain deadlines for team / Africa Region.
