Client Access Representative - Behavioral Crisis Center (Sedalia)

As a Client Access Representative, you'll be responsible for assisting clients with inquiries regarding mental health, domestic violence, and addictive disorders services, coordinating pre-screening paperwork, and informing clients of their cost share responsibilities. Your professionalism and effective communication skills will enable you to handle client inquiries, schedule follow-up appointments, and assist with Medicaid applications as needed. The Client Access Representative position offers... + Competitive salary and benefits package + A unique workplace culture that prioritizes diversity, equity, and inclusion + Opportunities to make a meaningful impact in the community + A supportive environment focused on personal and professional growth Key Responsibilities: + Respond to inquiries for mental health, domestic violence, and/or addictive disorders services, referring clients to appropriate Burrell departments or outside agencies. + Assist Behavioral Crisis Center clients with pre-screening paperwork and cost share information. + Schedule follow-up appointments for clients referred to other Burrell services and assist in filling out Medicaid applications if necessary. + Maintain documentation of referrals and keep accurate records and reports. + Work independently, demonstrate initiative, and remain flexible with changing job demands. + Assist with scheduling and maintaining telehealth appointments as required. + Answer phone calls, direct inquiries, and respond to requests from leadership. + Maintain a welcoming and organized reception area. + Participate in service monitors and quality improvement programs. + Demonstrate excellent guest relations skills in all interactions. + Assist with additional duties and projects as assigned. Education and/or Experience Qualifications: + High school diploma or GED required. + One year of relevant experience preferred. + Schedule flexibility is required. Additional Qualifications: + Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. + Strong customer service orientation and ability to multitask. + Excellent organization and typing skills. + Proficiency in computer applications. + Willingness to complete necessary background checks.
