Other related activities may be performed although not listed.) • Plans, assigns and reviews clerical work and instructs employees in the duties of specialized clerical work.• Performs the more difficult and complex clerical tasks.• Schedules work loads and coordinates work flow with that of other units.• Analyzes clerical procedures and suggests changes to increase efficiency, then inaugurates approved changes.• Conducts correspondence on matters in which policies and procedures are well defined.• Responds to requests from other governmental agencies and from the public for information about department policies, procedures and pertinent laws.• Assists in the preparation of departmental reports.• Assists in the collection of budget data and the preparation of budget information.• Completes and submits purchase orders/requisitions, and maintains supply/inventory records.• Operates office equipment such as computer, copier and fax machine.• Assists in High School BEDS Public School Data Form completion and reporting.• Manages the principal’s calendar and high school building calendar.• Supports NYS Regents Exam, NYSESLAT, and all other standardized test ordering, inventory, organization, score reporting, and communication.• Assists in completion and submission of Facility Usage Forms.• Supports principal in scheduling and management of teacher APPR observations.• Manages the BHS marquee sign and high school web site.• Schedules room reservations during school hours.• Assists in the communication of all building mailers.• Communicates student academically inellgibile list.• Assists in completion and submission of Refreshment Authorization forms.• Supports principal in emergency response drills and documentation completion.• Manages all record retention.• Maintains an accurate inventory of building keys and sub badges.• Assists in planning and preparation for annual Awards Night and Scholarship Night.• Manages submission of building-wide payroll.• Assists in Graduation Ceremony planning, including the event program.• Manages the gathering and documentation of building committees, department, and team lists.• Supports daily staff attendance and substitute teacher schedules.• Maintains and updates the Staff Handbook.• Maintains and updates the Student Agenda.• Access and pull Ad Hoc reports in Infinite Campus.• Maintains and updates HS Main Office Microsoft Teams page. QUALIFICATIONS: Civil Service: Those individuals classified as Clerk I OR reachable on the current Civil Service Clerk I list OR otherwise qualified by the rules of the Monroe County Civil Service Commission will be considered.• Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma, plus EITHER: A. Four (4) years of paid full time or its part time or volunteer equivalent office clerical or secretarial experience; OR, B. An Associate's degree in Secretarial Science, Office Technology or a closely related field, plus two (2) years of experience as described in (A) above; OR, C.
