Job Overview:

Under the direction of the Manager, the Clerk perform administrative/Clerical duties within the department.

Qualifications:

Required:

High school graduate or equivalent. Minimum of 0-6 months prior experience. Effective communication skills Must be able to enter data and retrieve data from the hospital information systemMay be scheduled to work weekends and overtime based upon the needs of the department

Essential Functions:

Answers telephones, enters prescribed data into computer systems, and performs general clerical work. Performs additional tasks as requested by Chairman of Pathology or his/her designee.
