Job Description
Part time buyer clerks assist Southwire Company business units, and other staff as assigned, in the daily management and operations of offices. This role is completely remote.


Task and Responsibilities:  
•    Utilize educational background, organizational skills, and communication skills in providing financial support and spending analysis for Engineering & Modernization.
•    Communicate verbally and in writing to various levels of internal and external personnel, as deemed appropriate, with a high degree of professionalism.
•    Build Purchase Order Requests in SAP for Modernization Team
•    Provide support for invoice analysis and account reconciliations.
•    Support the Modernization team with Document Management
•    Assist in preparing monthly reports for Modernization.
 
Requirements:
•    High school diploma required

•   Experience in or working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field of study (preferred).

•  Knowledge of SAP required
•    Ability to work at least 25 hours per week.
•    Must be comfortable multi-tasking.
•    Must be highly organized with an ability to stay in the detail. 
•    Must have strong interpersonal abilities, the ability to get along with diverse personalities, and be tactful, mature, and flexible.
•    Must have good audible, written, and verbal communication skills, a high degree of personal integrity, discretion, attention to detail, and strong investigative skills.
•    Must be able to display initiative and accept responsibility for assigned tasks under minimal supervision. 
•    Must have a problem-solving mindset and eager to learn.
•    Ability to proactively identify problems and propose effective solutions.
•    Ability to work and complete projects independently, as well as within a team environment.
•    Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
