As our team continues to expand, we’re looking for a dedicated Cleanroom Technician** to help us ensure our production processes run smoothly and meet high standards.
**Job Description:**
**As a Cleanroom Technician** , you will be a vital part of our operations, ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our production areas. Your role will include inspecting and preparing materials for production, performing sanitation tasks, and maintaining accurate records. You’ll play a key role in ensuring safety, compliance, and the smooth operation of our facility.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Inspect and prepare reels, boxes, and pallets for production operations.
+ Perform sanitation of equipment, infrastructure, production areas, and other assigned spaces.
+ Accurately maintain both written and electronic records.
+ Adhere to safety, GMP, and food safety policies.
+ Inspect infrastructure and equipment, alerting management when maintenance is needed.
+ Transport materials and products by hand, cart, or lift as needed.
+ Interact positively and cooperatively with team members from other departments.
+ Organize materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to standards.
+ Open containers such as bales and crates, and pack finished goods according to procedures.
+ Record any damaged items upon receipt.
+ Keep the work area clean and organized at all times.
+ Operate machines to wrap finished pallets and stack goods.
+ Complete required inspections of finished products to ensure quality.
+ Use the ERP system to track materials and products.
+ Train new employees based on your expertise and experience.
+ Support company values and perform other duties as required.
**Essential Skills:**
+ Experience in warehouse operations, packaging, and loading/unloading.
+ Proficient in production, labor, forklift operation, and machine operation.
+ Experience in cleanroom and manufacturing environments.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications:**
+ Forklift certification preferred, or 6+ months of forklift experience.
+ Experience with inventory management and data entry.
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ 1-2 years of previous warehouse experience is preferred.

**Work Environment:**
**Our Marion facility specializes in manufacturing plastic zippers for food bags. The work area is extremely clean, air-conditioned (around 78°F in summer), and follows strict GMP guidelines. Employees are provided with uniforms and must follow dress code guidelines, including no jewelry or cell phones, and wearing hair nets or beard nets when necessary.**
**Shifts Available:**
+ **1st Shift:** 6 AM - 2 PM
+ **2nd Shift:** 2 PM - 10 PM (currently open)
+ **3rd Shift:** 10 PM - 6 AM

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00
