We are currently seeking talented individuals for our Cleaning/Utility Person position!

Here is some of what you’ll do…

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the close supervision of the Sales Operations Supervisor, this position exists to beautify the buildings and grounds by maintaining components, vehicles, forklifts, grounds, and shop floors. 

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Completes deliveries and pick-ups by driving truck or van to and from assigned locationsMaintains vehicles by washing, cleaning, and detailing, keeping vehicles fueled, completing preventative maintenance requirements, and arranging for repairs.Secures buildings and grounds at the end of the dayMaintains quality service by following organization standards.Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping buildings, grounds, components, and vehicles neat, work areas organized, and complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Maintains buildings and grounds by completing routine maintenance and troubleshooting.Checks, inspects and verifies shipments.Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications.Contributes to a team effort by accomplishing related results, as needed.Performs all other duties as assigned by management. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.Must have a valid Drivers License with a good driving record.Must have PC skills.Must have the ability to communicate clearly, both orally and in writing.Must be forklift certified or able to be certified within 60 days.Must have the ability to multi-task and complete assignments.Must have the ability to work in a team environment and possess a positive attitude.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Walking: Moves about on foot, often through uneven terrain.Hands/arms: Operates equipment and hand and power tools.Handling: Seizes, helps, or works with hands.Lifting: Raises or lowers miscellaneous equipment parts and tools.Reaching: Extends hands and arms in any direction.Stooping: Bends body downward and forward by bending at knees or waist.Standing: Remains in standing position if required to perform various functions of the job.Climbing: In and out of equipment.Raising/Lowering: Goes up and down in man lifts.Vision: Reads paperwork, files, and records on the computer.Talking: Communicates by phone, and in person.Sitting: Sits in equipment and vehicles and at a desk for extended periods.Laying: Lies in prone position under vehicles and equipment for extended periods.Lifting: Lifts up to 60lbs. daily, frequent exertion.

 

ENVIRONMENTAL:          

Noise: Works in conditions with constant or intermittent noise.Temp/Weather: Works outside and in shop with variations of temperature and weather.Confined Spaces: Works in confined spaces, loading and unloading shipping containers.
