We are seeking a Cleaning Team Leader to oversee our cleaning team and ensure that our facilities remain immaculate. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. This role is a hands-on cleaning role.
About You
Current First Aid qualification Proven experience as a team leader, Cleaning Team Leader or similar role. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Ability to communicate effectively Ability to follow instructions and implement changes where needed Be open to innovative thinking and technologies**Please note, as a prerequisite for this role candidates will be required to complete workrights check, pre-employment medical check, Working with Children Check, AFP National Police History certificate and reference checks.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the work of cleaning staff, including scheduling shifts and ensuring adequate coverage. Train new employees on cleaning procedures, use of equipment, and health and safety standards. Inspect buildings to ensure quality standards are met and maintained. Address and resolve any issues or complaints regarding cleaning services promptly. Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and equipment inventory. Collaborate with management to implement and enforce company policies and procedures and to report any issues or concerns Maintain a positive and professional demeanour with tenants and stakeholders Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to cleaning staff. Able to complete cleaning duties when required especially if there are a staff shortfall or if staff are in need of help Be able to complete any reactive cleaning tasks while on duty Coordinate and completed planned maintenance tasks Ensure team and self-complete relevant cleaning audits through auditing app Coordinate cleaning equipment/ machinesWhy work for us?
