**A Snapshot of Your Day** The Cleaning Room Associate is responsible for cleaning and deburring parts made from multiple materials to prepare them for assembly or machining. **HowYou’ll Make an Impact** + Clean, hand wash,blast, vapor blast, rust stripper, automated wash and honite castings,steel, or other materials to prepare them for assembly or machining. + Deburr, file, grind,chip, and fit parts made from cast iron, cast steel, malleable iron,nodular iron, sheet and bar steel.Remove burrs, fins, and sharp edges using belt sanders, electricbench grinders, air operated rotary files, and hand files. + Inspect work visuallyto determine quality, finish and general appearance. + Operate materialhandling equipment, such as, but not restricted to, hand truck, fork orlift truck, crane, hoist, etc. for incidental delivery or receiving ofmaterial to or from adjoining areas of the shop.Deliver or receive material to or fromany area of the plant, inside or outside. + Cooperate with otherdepartments as required. Perform preventive or minor maintenance asneeded. + Report any defects tosupervisor, and keep work area neat, clean, orderly, and safe. **WhatYou Bring** + Must have a High SchoolDiploma or GED that can be verified. + 1-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. + Mustbe willing to work 2 nd shift and be flexible enough to work 1 st or3rd shift on occasion as business requires. + Familiaritywith Microsoft Office Suite, with basic to intermediate computer skills. + Displaysan attitude conducive to progress through positive change, continuousimprovement, and active contributor to the teamwork concept; Must be able to demonstrate oral and writtencommunication skills. + Applicants must be legally authorized for employmentin the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsoredwork authorization.
