Your Role:
Chubb partners with external claims management organizations or Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) to assist in managing claims. The role of the Claims TPA Manager is to oversee and manage Chubb’s claims outsourcing arrangements ensuring that claims are handled efficiently, accurately and in compliance with relevant policies, laws and regulations. This includes monitoring and managing claims process, improving operational efficiency and driving cost-effective solutions.
Your Responsibilities:
Vendor management
First point of contact for all Claims TPAs Contract negotiation and service level agreements Claims TPA relationship management Provide training and support to Chubb on the claims outsourcing process Ensure compliance with the Chubb TPA frameworkClaims process oversight
Ensure claims are managed and processed in accordance with agreed guidelines and applicable regulatory requirements Develop and implement strategies to improve outsourced claims operationsMonitoring and reporting
Track and report on key performance indicators Analyse claims data to identify trends, challenges and opportunities for improvement Review and determine appropriate delegated authority limits for Claims TPAs Prepare reporting on claims TPA performance and trends Engage with internal Chubb stakeholders on focus areas for Claims TPAs. This includes Chubb Claims, Underwriting, Claims Internal Audit, Finance, Legal & ComplianceRisk Management and Compliance
Ensure Claims TPAs have undergone appropriate due diligence checks before onboarding Ensure Claims TPAs have policies, procedures and systems in place for compliance with claims handling regulatory requirements and Claims Best Practice guidelines Facilitate reviews and audits of Claims TPAs to ensure adherence with Chubb requirements, quality standards and regulatory obligations Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Insurance, Risk Management or a related field Proven experience in General Insurance Claims management Advanced understanding of the claims regulatory requirements including GICOP and CPS 230Experience in Property, Strata, home or content claims management is huge plus Strong understanding of insurance policies and claims processes Experience negotiating contracts and managing third party relationships Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Stakeholder management experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Advanced ability to use office productivity tools such as Microsoft Office.
