Job Description:

Parsons is now hiring an experienced Structural Engineer with a desire to work on major bridge projects.  Parsons extensive experience in this field, combined with your engineering knowledge, will propel your career forward with opportunity for advancement with top performance. We need our engineers to be versatile, enthusiastic to work in highly flexible, team-oriented environment and who have exceptional communication, analytical and organizational skills.

In this role you will plan and design structures and facilities such as highway, railroad and pedestrian bridges, and tunnels. Analyzes proposed projects to ensure structural reliability, resource efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Performs a variety of engineering duties and will be expected to coordinate with other disciplines such as: environmental, geotechnical, municipal/urban, water resources, materials and/or coastal engineering. Responsible for the development of engineering computations, material quantity take-offs, estimates, surveys and designs.  

Responsibilities: 

Provides support for other engineering activities as required. May be assigned to a project or organizational team, for a specific discipline on a large or complex bridge project/program.     Provides input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower level Engineers working on the same project.


Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Structural Engineering or related field & 5+ years of related work experienceMaster’s degree in Structural Engineering is preferredEngineer in-Training (EIT) Certificate may be requiredProficiency in utilizing CAD (Microstation) and other PC software packages typically associated with Structural Engineering is required

Salary Range: $72,900.00 - $127,600.00
