Job Description
The Civil Engineer III is responsible for the management of analysis, development, and permitting of ground mount utility scale solar farms.
ResponsibilitiesManage designers and engineers to develop and evaluate site constraint analysis, including zoning, topography, environmental, and soils.Manage project schedules and budgets.Ensure project compliance with all applicable AHJ requirements.Act as Engineer-of-Record for soil erosion & sediment control and stormwater plans, details, and calculations for permit submittal to AHJ.Direct Civil Designers and Engineers to prepare and revise site/civil plans and calculations.Prepare revisions and responses to AHJ comments.Essential SkillsProficient with AutoCAD Civil 3DExperience with grading plan and erosion controlCivil EngineeringCivil DesignMinimum eight (8) years of relevant work experienceAdditional Skills & QualificationsBS in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited universityRegistered Professional Engineer (NC Preferred, Not Required)Experience with the design of PV projects
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
