Job Description
Manage design for renewable energy sites, focusing on ground-mounted solar arrays and battery energy storage systems (BESS). Drive business development in line with annual objectives. Prepare and monitor project budgets. Oversee project schedules to ensure timely completion. Develop design concepts, project plans, and specifications. Prepare proposals for engineering services. Coordinate and approve pricing, estimates, and strategies for projects. Act as the main client contact. Supervise and assign tasks to the technical team. Meet and correspond with clients for direction and feedback. Conduct site visits as needed. Manage work-in-process, ensure accurate billing, and monitor accounts receivable. Initiate business development activities.

This individual will sit in the Naperville office, which has about 56 people. There are about 17 individuals in the site/civil geotechnical group, and this individual will oversee two to three people and work closely with another Project Manager. The company has a hybrid work schedule - in the office 3 days, 2 days flexible. Project types include commercial real estate and solar/renewable work, with a focus on a commercial development project in Naperville. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $155000.00/hr.
