Job Description

Timmons Group is seeking a Civil Project Engineer II - Structure & Bridge Design candidate for our Richmond, VA office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:

Perform routine and complex design of steel piles and steel connections.Perform routine and complex design of cast-in-place concrete slabs.Understanding of general renewable energy nomenclatureAssist with the development of scope, schedule and budgets for projectsAssist with the management of projects and tasksAssist with marketing and proposal development

Skills/Requirements of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required, Master’s degree preferred2+ years of structure and/or bridge design experience requiredPE License is a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in structural design software packages, specifically LPile, Mathcad, ExcelProficiency in the use of AutoCAD for plan developmentProficiency with Excel/AutoCAD interoperability to create pile plot plans
