Civil Engineering Project Coordinator
Responsible for reviewing zoning and regulatory ordinances, preparing grading and stormwater management designs, and coordinating project deliverables.
Job Requirements:
Experience in zoning, SALDO, and regulatory ordinance review
Proficiency in grading and stormwater management (SWM) design
Ability to perform and review earthwork calculations
Experience preparing E&S design calculations, plans, and reports
Strong understanding of permitting requirements and agency submission processes
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with CAD software for evaluating conceptual layout plans
Experience directing Geotech consultants for infiltration testing
Knowledge of conservation district/DEP application requirements
Ability to assess agency review letters and draft responses to regulatory comments
Leadership experience in overseeing project teams and delegating tasks
Job Responsibilities:
Review zoning, SALDO, and other agency regulations applicable to projects
Evaluate conceptual layout plans to minimize regulatory burdens and reduce costs while meeting project objectives
Prepare preliminary grading plans and SWM due diligence summaries per company standards
Establish overall grading and stormwater design strategies balancing permitting, budget, and construction feasibility
Oversee preparation of road and utility profile plans, providing feedback and training to CAD teams
Coordinate and compile submission materials for SWM review agency approvals
Manage project team efforts in design plan production, ensuring quality control reviews before submission
Lead agency submissions and communications in coordination with the Project Manager
Support and develop less-experienced department staff through training and mentorship
Pay: 40-60

Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
