Your Opportunity
We currently have an opening for a Civil Engineering Co-op Student in our Yellowknife, NT office. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting data collection and analysis, surveying, field reviews during construction, and design / drafting assistance in our Civil Engineering group, along with support work with our multi-disciplinary extended team in Yellowknife. The successful candidate will receive a very broad range of experiences by supporting more than one team.

Ability to work in a team environment Adaptability, organization, critical thinking, self-motivation, a keen willingness to learn, a love of the outdoors, wilderness and travel experience, attention to detail, succinct writing ability, and ability to multitask AutoCAD Civil 3D experience Trimble GPS Survey experience Strong MS Office Suite skills Flexibility to travel and work beyond regular business hours A driver’s license with clean driving record and vehicle are required Additional skills or training, such as current First Aid training, is an asset but is not requiredEducation and Experience
The successful candidate must be a high school graduate currently enrolled in a university degree program in Civil Engineering with an availability for an 8-month Co-op placement starting in Spring 2025.Typical office environment working with computers. Field work included may be long days (12 hours), in challenging remote locations, last minute schedule changes, and exposure to the elements including inclement weather. Ability to lift and move items and equipment up to 50 lbs.
