Job title: Civil Engineering Technician

Location: Cape Town

Job Overview:
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Engineering Technician to join their team in Cape Town. As a Civil Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the design, construction, and management of various civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, and buildings.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the design and development of civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards Prepare technical drawings, plans, and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software Conduct site visits to inspect construction progress and ensure adherence to project specifications Determine and ensure quality of procedures and products Perform calculations and analysis to support engineering design Collaborate with engineers and other team members to resolve technical issues Monthly measurements and data reports for progress statements to supervisors Prepare reports, proposals, and presentations Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in civil engineering

Requirements:

National Diploma in Civil Engineering or and equivalent qualification Minimum 2 years of experience as a Civil Engineering Technician/ in the civil industry Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software is beneficial Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to work effectively in a team environment Valid driver’s license
