Role Overview

The Civil Engineer Project Manager is a critical member of our Civil Engineering department, tasked with leading the design and detailing of impactful projects across various sectors, including K-12 schools, municipal infrastructure, healthcare, multi-family housing, and university campuses. This role encompasses a full project lifecycle engagement, from site feasibility studies and conceptual design to utility engineering, stormwater management, permitting, bidding, and construction administration.

Candidate Qualifications


Experience & Skills:

A minimum of 6+ years in civil engineering. Understanding of AutoCAD Civil3D and stormwater design programs such as PondPack, HydroCAD, SewerCAD, etc. A proactive, team-oriented attitude. Expertise in utility sizing, stormwater design, land development/site layout, grading, and permitting. A Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT) with plans to secure a PE.


Leadership & Client Engagement:

A strong background in managing civil engineering projects and fostering client relations. Leadership skills to guide project teams and mentor junior engineers. A commitment to engaging in active design work across projects. Collaboration with various engineering disciplines. A drive to grow the business and nurture new client relationships, especially in the Towanda, PA area, and potentially managing projects across Pennsylvania and New York. This individual will be pivotal in client-facing projects and embody Hunt EAS's core values in all external interactions, ensuring our commitment to quality, integrity, and community focus is consistently represented.
