**Duration: 12-month contract** **Job Description:** + Responsibilities include but not limited to: + Update and manage workforce planning tool + Reviews and checks Civil design documents including drawings, calculations, specifications, submissions, ect. On outsourced and in-house engineering projects for conformance to CLIENT’S standards and applicable + design criteria. + Must demonstrate leadership in their role and have the ability to stand-in for the Group’s supervisor when required + Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with internal and external groups. + Clearly demonstrated individual and team leadership on critical projects and initiatives. + Act as a primary interface with multiple Consulting -Engineering firms for project work that is outsourced and assure that Codes, Industry practices and CLIENT’S standards are maintained by these firms. + Candidate must have the initiative and ability to work independently on most issues with limited supervision, as well as demonstrated ability to manage multiple issues and projects. + Proven ability to effectively interact with internal and external groups and clearly display individual and team, leadership and critical projects and initiatives. + Provide civil engineering support on projects from inception to completion. **Experience:** + Bachelors degree in civil engineering + A minimum of four years of relevant engineering experience + Experience with review of civil design documents, including drawings, calculations, specifications, submittals, etc. + Familiar with civil engineering codes – NBC, ACI and AIS + Strong individual initiative and ability to work independently on most technical issues + Foster and inclusive work environment and respects all aspects of diversity + Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft office applications + Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills + Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills; strong planning and organizational skills; adaptable and oriented + As the job requires company, locations, and offsite assignments and events, must possess a valid US drivers license with a safe and satisfactory driving history **Skills:** + Engineer training certificate + Advanced technical training + Advanced technical or engineering degree/masters/MBA + Experience with regulatory and licensing requirements, including environmental, zoning, planning, and construction codes + Knowledge of StaadPRO, RISA 3D, HEC–RAS, L– Pile, SAG– 0, or similar Civil analysis and design software **Education:** + Bachelors degree in civil engineering **About US Tech Solutions:** US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
