Job Title: Civil Designer
Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AutoCAD Civil 3D Designer. The ideal candidate will have at least an Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology, 10 or more years of experience, mastery in Civil 3D software/design with the proven ability and desire to develop new designers.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed civil site drawings, layouts, and diagrams within the project scope, schedule, and budget using Civil 3D.Mentor and develop Civil Design staff within the Resource Business Group.Work independently within the civil discipline for the Resource Business Group.Be responsible for their discipline model and generate the Civil elements based on the Level of Development (LOD) outlined in the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP) and project scope.Create and maintain the civil model, systems, content, and overall digital delivery output.Produce designs as identified in the Digital Delivery requirements using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.Mentor and develop the Digital Design staff within the civil discipline.Accurately model Civil 3D elements within the correct spatial constraints of the modeling environment.Maintain the civil discipline model including project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, scope boundaries, match-lines, views, and sheets.Produce discipline-specific documentation with accurate annotations on all modeling output.Monitor, improve, and maintain company standards and model health. Coordinate the design with other discipline models through Design Reviews and 3D Coordination processes.Execute all Digital Delivery requirements identified on the project.Contribute to the development of business class digital needs.Essential SkillsMastery in Civil 3DProficiency in AutoCADExperience in civil site design and layout design10+ years of experienceLeadership and mentorship experienceAdditional Skills & QualificationsGrading and survey experienceProficiency in Revit and NavisworksExperience in drainage designAssociate's degree minimumWork Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
