Job Title: Civil Design Engineer
Job Description

The Civil Design Engineer will be primarily responsible for preparing plan sets, including drafting, designing, and managing stormwater projects. The role involves attending client meetings regularly, developing project designs, and producing construction documents using Civil 3D. The candidate will coordinate construction site inspections and observations, and be involved in all aspects of design and development for commercial and residential site design, athletic facility improvements, and other civil-related projects.

The position is located in a satellite office in West Des Moines, with multiple offices throughout the Midwest. The candidate will work directly with the owner in an open office room, which is very quiet with little supervision, making self-starting and good communication skills essential. There will be occasional collaboration with other offices on their projects. The office aims to grow from 85-100 employees to 8-10 employees in the next couple of years. The company is known nationally through its MN branch and is looking to expand its IA office.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00/hr.
