Position: Civil CAD Technician
Location: Indianapolis, IN
We are looking for a CAD Technician to join our Civil Group. A good candidate will be a motivated and hardworking individual, who is looking to expand their experience working on exciting projects and wants to find a place to grow their career. This person will be flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects in both the private and federal markets.
Responsibilities Work with Project Managers and Project Engineers to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specificationsDevelop detailed site layouts, grading designs, and drainage designsAssist with permit applications for commercial, industrial, and residential site development projectsAssist with construction plan preparationQualifications 3+ years of civil/site development design experience Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D (alignments, profiles, corridors, surfaces, etc.) Proficient in Microsoft ExcelAbility to work well independently or on teamsAbility to work well under pressure and consistently hit project deadlinesAbility to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
