Key Responsibilities:

 

Site Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of solar power plant sites, focusing on the structural integrity and compliance of buildings, foundations, and other civil structures. Assess the quality of construction materials, workmanship, and adherence to approved design specifications and local building codes. Identify any potential safety hazards or non-conformities and recommend corrective actions. Document Review: Review construction drawings, structural calculations, and other relevant documentation to ensure compliance with Bureau Veritas' standards and industry best practices. Verify that the as-built conditions match the approved design plans and specifications. Maintain detailed inspection records and reports, documenting findings and recommendations. Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to communicate inspection findings and coordinate necessary remedial actions. Provide technical guidance and support to address any construction-related issues or concerns. Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely completion of inspections and resolution of identified non-conformities. Compliance Verification: Ensure that the solar power plant construction adheres to all applicable local building codes, regulations, and industry standards. Verify the compliance of civil and structural components with Bureau Veritas' internal quality and safety requirements. Recommend necessary modifications or improvements to align the project with Bureau Veritas' standards and client expectations. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare comprehensive inspection reports, detailing findings, recommendations, and corrective actions required. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inspections, test results, and project documentation. Contribute to the continuous improvement of Bureau Veritas' inspection processes and procedures.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field Minimum 2-3 years of experience in construction inspection, preferably in the solar energy or renewable energy sector Thorough understanding of building codes, structural design, and construction practices Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Familiarity with Bureau Veritas' inspection protocols and quality management systems (desired) Certification in construction inspection or related field (desired)
