Chubb Life Global Office: Head of Chubb Business Academy

Position Objective   

Upgrade agency distribution learning & development thinking and capability across all Chubb Life agency markets Lead development of Business Academy, a structured learning framework for agents, leaders and agency executives Collaborate with Global & market leadership to develop business-outcome led roadmaps

Duties and Responsibilities

Academy Builder

Global Life Center of Excellence supporting markets in formulating Agent, Leader and Agency Executive training and development approaches to achieve Chubb Life’s strategic ambitions Work with GAD, Global Executive Management and market CAOs to baseline capabilities, identify recommended actions, gain management buy-in Define minimum and target standards, support markets enhance capability, development roadmaps including learning tools.  Support CAOs define clear execution path towards target standards. Help build Business Academy as a clear value proposition for agent and leader recruitment. Ensure training delivery and follow through are linked to business outcomes (recruitment, activity, retention)

Training Excellence & Execution Support

Support markets:

Develop segment focus learning roadmaps, Elite (MDRT), full-time (Champion Hubb), Leaders. Identify and leverage existing best practice sharing and support the execution and implementation across markets based on maturity Develop learning communities with LBUs and collaborate with country Learning Heads on implementation of the learning strategy, framework and programmes including timelines for changes.  Strengthen and future-proof capabilities of agents and leaders including local, regional, global certifications + rewards & recognition Work with external learning providers (e.g. LIMRA/GAMA/KBI) to globally procure and customise programmes to support local market needs. Work with the Head of Agency Digital to design learning tools with digital capabilities to enhance productivity, coaching & performance management. Ensure tools support learning outcomes  Direct experience with on-the-ground training needs across mature and maturing markets Experience with fundamentals of quality recruitment, elite agency and leader segments Deal with complex and multi-dimensional issues, be dynamic and innovative in resolving problems  Strong project management skills with multi-tasking competency, work closely with multiple stakeholder Ability to create and maintain good working relationship with all levels of staff
Strong leadership, interpersonal and influencing skills Strategic planning and proven execution in short and long-term plans Degree, relevant professional industry qualification preferred 10-15+ years job experience in life insurance in Asia markets, with at significant focus on agency distribution High degree of independence of decision making, people development and project execution  Good team player with creative mindset, strong business sense and willing to accept challenges Good command in English, Mandarin both in speaking and writing would be advantageous
