This position in the Child Care Licensing Bureau functions as a lead worker responsible for supporting, providing assistance, and directing the work of lower level Child Care Consultants within the Northeast and Upper Peninsula region. The lead worker will oversee and ensure quality of work and compliance with applicable laws, Administrative Rules, policies, and procedures. This position is also responsible for state licensing of child care organizations including family and group child care homes and child care centers within a specified geographical area of the State and providing administrative assistance to the area management.
