It hosts 134 units of Independent/Assisted Living, Enhanced and Memory Care in total. This location also offers on-site intergenerational childcare and interactive programming with our seniors. Under the supervision of the Child Care Director, the Lead Teacher is responsible for care and supervision of children in their assigned age group which may include infant, toddler, preschool or school-age children. Responsible for the supervision of the Assistant Teacher or Aide assigned to the classroom. To lead, plan and organize childcare program activities to ensure that the program provides the highest quality childcare available. Provide weekly plans to both the Director and the parents of the childcare program. Ensures implementation of age-appropriate curriculum to nurture and stimulate the psychosocial, cognitive and cultural needs of the children in their care. Responsible to report any concerns to director any concerns regarding staff or classroom issues. Supervises health and safety needs of every child. Conducts classroom and parent meetings. Keeps classroom neat and orderly. Trains and guides the assigned Assistant Teacher, Aide and/or Volunteer, involving them in activity planning and program implementation with input from supervisor. Directly supervise classroom aides and volunteers. Report all needed information to the center’s Director. Ability to perform other duties as assigned and directed. **Qualifications** Required: + High school Diploma/GED - Child Development or Teacher qualified under Minnesota Rule 9503.003 + Other License/Certification/Registration: List -Current Pediatric CPR from American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross; must be obtained within 90-days of hire. + None to 1 Year Preferred: + Associate Degree + Bachelor's Degree + One to Three Years- Two years teaching in childcare center or early childhood program Compensation $20.01 - $28.25/Hr. **Benefit Overview** Ebenezer offers a generous benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, PTO and Sick and Safe Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement, early access to earned wages, and more!
