Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and creative Chief Pastry to join our dynamic culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you will play an essential role in creating exquisite pastries and desserts that exceed our guests' expectations. You will be responsible for crafting a diverse range of sweet offerings, ensuring high-quality standards, and following all hygiene and safety regulations in line with Dubai Municipality guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and create innovative and high-quality pastries, desserts, and other baked goods for hotel restaurants, banquets, and special events.Ensure that all baked goods and pastries are prepared and presented according to the hotel’s standard operating procedures and in compliance with food safety regulations.Supervise and train pastry kitchen team members, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.Ensure all ingredients are fresh, and monitor stock levels, ordering supplies when needed.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen, adhering to hygiene standards as outlined by the Dubai Municipality Food Safety Regulations.Monitor food presentation and taste to maintain the highest level of guest satisfaction.Work with the Head Chef to plan seasonal menus, special events, and promotions.Ensure the pastry department follows proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.QualificationsProven experience as a Senior Chef de Partie, Pastry, with at least 3 years of experience in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment.Culinary degree or equivalent certification from an accredited institution.Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, dessert plating, and international pastry trends.Familiarity with Dubai Municipality Food Safety Guidelines and HACCP standards.Ability to manage and lead a team, with excellent communication and organizational skills.Creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating exceptional pastries and desserts.Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
