The Chief Nursing Officer has key responsibilities for organizational leadership, strategy, clinical oversight, operational management, and quality improvement. Serves on the senior management team, reporting directly to the CEO and participating in governance activities at the Board Level. Provides leadership and direction of Nursing Services within the organization.
Must be able to facilitate problem-solving and decision-making. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Progressive clinical management experience of at least 5-8 years.The ability to deal courteously and effectively with physicians, patients, staff, external customers, and other health care workers.Bachelors degree or higher in nursing from an accredited nursing program. Candidate will have 2 years from date of hire to complete this requirement.
Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice is required. RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules.
