Overview: 

The Chief Client Officer, U.S., will be critical in defining and executing Ketchum’s business growth through its U.S. market. They will lead the Client Director community through procedures, controls, and experiences to drive excellence, motivate senior talent, and spur clients. They will help the Client Director community develop, test, and drive transformative products and consulting offers forward. They will also bring innovative practices and align our overall business strategy with pioneering thinking.

Responsibilities: 

Client Management

Directly lead and counsel at least one client engagement Manage the overall health and growth of agreed flagship clients across the U.S. market, working directly with Client Directors Demonstrate the highest level of client counsel skills and act as a strategic business partner to elevate the client experience Set KPIs for growth, performance, and profitability Create and operationalize a feedback mechanism to demonstrate impact from a client experience perspective, working with US SLT leadership teams and Client Directors to put growth plans in place where necessary Play a key role in the GXL Program, cascading new structures, processes, and learnings Drive a growth mindset. Encourage and demonstrate entrepreneurial behavior

Innovation

Create and deploy a client-centric model driving consistency in the client’s experience Implement changes in consultancy approach, offerings and thought leadership to enhance competitiveness and improve organizational efficiencies

Business Development 

Function as a key player in pursuing organic new business opportunities and leading strategically important pitches Possess strong relationships and partnerships throughout different verticals that can convert into leads and business opportunities Drive business growth through cross-selling and incremental growth within new prospects and clients through understanding client business challenges and supporting US-SLT and client leadership teams to respond with high-impact and innovative solutions Work with PMO/RM functions to scope and address needs to fill new business/growth skills gaps across the client's businesses

Talent

Create team structures of the future with DE&I at the core of all decision-making Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to the U.S. Client Directors of business-critical accounts In conjunction with HR, ensure the U.S. Client Director’s career plans are developed, incorporating Employee Performance Metrics targeting business and personal needs, flagging flight risks, and identifying individual development needs Lead regular talent reviews across U.S. Client Directors in partnership with U.S. Market leadership teams

 

The salary range for this position is $225,000+ . This position may be bonus eligible depending on individual employee performance and Ketchum business performance. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, education, years of experience, past training, skills and abilities of applicant, internal equity and local geographic market data.  A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available.
