Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Butcher to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As the Chief Butcher, you will lead our meat department, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Oversee all aspects of the butchery operation, including meat cutting, processing, and packagingLead and mentor a team of butchers, providing training and guidance on best practicesEnsure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain the highest standards of hygiene and sanitationManage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and storing meat productsDevelop and implement quality control procedures to maintain product excellenceInteract with customers, providing expert advice on meat selection and preparationCollaborate with other departments to create innovative meat products and special cutsStay updated on industry trends and introduce new techniques or products as appropriateEnsure all meat products meet halal standards and local preferences

QualificationsProven experience in professional butchery with strong leadership and team management skillsExpert knowledge of meat cuts, preparation methods, and butchery techniquesIn-depth understanding of food safety practices, HACCP principles, and UAE food safety regulationsProficiency in inventory management, cost control, and customer serviceExpertise in halal butchery practices and familiarity with local and international meat grading standardsExcellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plusCurrent food safety certification; professional butchery certification preferred
