Accommodating more than 250,000 outpatient visits, and more than 15,000 inpatient admissions annually. The Chief of Ambulatory Care serves to oversee and improve the outpatient clinical services; oversee the operational services, in conjunction with the Ambulatory Care administrative lead; and to represent Ambulatory Care facility-wide.
Responsibilities Provide leadership to the clinical providers in Ambulatory CareProvide educational and academic leadershipOversee improvement initiatives in outpatient servicesRepresent the facility in system-wide and facility-based meetings with direct responsibility for Ambulatory Care servicesOversee Ambulatory Care performance metrics and performance improvement initiatives Qualifications Board Certification in an Ambulatory Care Specialty FieldMinimum 5 years' experience practicing medicine as a board certified physicianMinimum 5 years' experience in a leadership or supervisory roleExperience serving an under-served patient population preferred
