A successful candidate for this position will appreciate the art and craft of educating, embrace challenges, cultivate a rich life outside of school, find deep satisfaction in working with students, possess the emotional acuity and personality to inspire and engage young people, and maintain an excellent sense of humor. Educating can be difficult work, but it’s wildly fun and meaningful. This candidate should feel extremely comfortable using technology to bolster learning experiences. We seek an educator who is able to plan, organize, and implement differentiated instructional programs and effectively collaborate with academic departments, grade-level teams, and individual colleagues. TVT is a highly collaborative environment; departments and grade-level teams work together to plan and implement their lessons. Strong communication skills and the desire to develop partnerships with students and parents are central to the culture here at TVT

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in the academic discipline or closely related Advanced Degree from an accredited Institution preferred Relevant teaching experience, 3 years preferred, in an independent Day School is a plus Teach classes according to the High School's rotating block schedule Knowledge of relevant technology

 

Compensation Range

TVT uses a Banding structure to determine salary. This placement is discussed and determined during the interview process to ensure that compensation reflects the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
