Test\nEngineer I (UR)
Honeywell Aerospace Materials Engineering\n(MatEng) is seeking a Test Engineer Intern. This position will be based at\nChihuahua, Mexico facility to support both local manufacturing activities as\nwell as global Aero MatEng activities. This is a challenging, multi-dimensional\nrole that requires the individual to perform at a high level while working\nmultiple concurrent task assignments.

The position will operate\nwithin a global MatEng team, working in partnership with experienced materials\nengineers. The individual will function as a resource to perform daily test for\nproduction support in the two laboratories (chemical and metallographic)\nproviding on time and accurate results to release manufacturing process,\nworking with problems resolution and process improvement projects.

The successful candidate will have the responsibility to ensure testing is\ncomplete and the validated production process meet customer requirements. The\nindividual will interact with both internal and external departments as well as\nsuppliers and other Honeywell sites.
 Employee main responsibility will include\nensures that chemical/metallographic laboratory analysis are performed and\ndocumented according to Aerospace quality and industry requirements, including\nquality audit activities and Root Cause and Corrective Actions implementation.
Candidate will be the responsible\nof the proper use of equipment in the laboratory, ensuring all equipment are\nworking properly and produces accurate results as required.
Activity\nBreakdown:
Daily\n test to validate production process.
Equipment\n verification and preventive maintenance.
Testing\n results report and communication with customer department.
The\n candidate will also participate and leads projects for process improvement\n and new processes implementation, delivering results according to schedule\n and properly documenting projects and validations of new testing methods\n as applicable.



Basic\nQualifications:
Student from Bachelor’s\n Degree in an Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry RFC (Constancia de Situacion Fiscal)Availability to start on June 2025
