Job Title: Chemical Production TechnicianJob Description We are seeking a skilled Chemical Production Technician to join our team. In this role, you will routinely produce high-quality, small-scale chemical products used in DNA/RNA synthesis. This includes handling regulated waste and actively participating in the Hazardous Spill Response Team. You will utilize an ERP system to create work orders, transfer material, and decrement material from inventory. Additionally, you will troubleshoot process issues related to quality, delivery, or other identified KPIs. Responsibilities + Produce high-quality, small-scale chemical products used in DNA/RNA synthesis. + Handle regulated waste and actively participate in the Hazardous Spill Response Team. + Utilize ERP system to create work orders, transfer material, and decrement material from inventory. + Troubleshoot process issues related to quality, delivery, or other identified KPIs. + Work with a team to produce reagent chemicals, media, and other supplies utilized by the lab. Essential Skills + Chemical handling + Chemistry knowledge + Laboratory experience + Attention to detail + Unit conversions and measurements + Use of scales + Manufacturing process knowledge + Quality control + Technical skills including use of Excel, SAP, and other computer-based programs Additional Skills & Qualifications + Associates degree preferred + High School Diploma and 1-2 years lab experience required + Ability to repeatedly lift 50lbs and exert 100lbs of force + Ability to be fitted for a respirator post offer Work Environment This position operates Monday to Thursday from 8pm to 6:30am. It is a very teamwork-heavy role, requiring strong collaboration with colleagues to achieve common goals. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
