Job DescriptionAs a Mix/Coat Manufacturing Operator, you'll assist with setting up, tearing down, and operating pharmaceutical manufacturing processes on commercial-scale equipment. You'll follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and standard operating procedures, ensuring accurate documentation using Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).
3rd Shift Hours: 10:00pm-6:30am (Monday to Friday)
Pay Range: $24.00-$33.00 /per hour (depends on experience)3rd Shift Differential: $3.20/per hour
ResponsibilitiesOperate commercial equipment with necessary technical skills.Apply technical knowledge in mixing, coating, slitting, rotary converting, and packaging.Learn and retain key concepts for converting production lines, including web handling, tensions, gear ratios, splices, die stations, vision systems, and pick-in-place systems.Learn and retain key concepts for mixing and coating production lines, including order of additions, solvation, emulsions, coat weights, % solids, assay, and viscosity.Support the manufacturing line Lead by monitoring processes, performing roll changes, in-process inspections, line set-up, tear-down, cleaning, and other production tasks.Read and understand chemical SDS guidance.Essential SkillsTechnical aptitude in mixing, coating, slitting, rotary converting, and packaging.Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English.Ability to interpret manufacturing documents like Manufacturing Batch Records (MBRs), Set up Diagrams (SUDs), Visual Standards, Control Charts, Summary Sheets, and Logbooks.1-3+ years of experience in a cGMP production environment
Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School diploma or GED (Technical or Associates degree preferred).Experience in GMP-regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, biotechnology, food & beverages, cosmetics, and dietary supplements.
