Job DescriptionWe are seeking a talented and experienced Chef de Partie specializing in Arabic cuisine to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing authentic Arabic dishes, maintaining high-quality standards, and contributing to the overall success of our culinary operations.
Prepare and cook a variety of Arabic dishes, ensuring authenticity and qualityManage a specific section of the kitchen, overseeing junior staff and daily operationsEnsure compliance with food safety and hygiene standardsAssist in menu planning and development of new Arabic dishesCollaborate with other chefs to maintain kitchen efficiency and productivityMonitor and maintain adequate inventory levels for your stationTrain and mentor junior kitchen staff in Arabic cuisine techniquesAssist the Executive Chef and Sous Chef as neededMaintain a clean and organized work environmentQualificationsCulinary degree or diploma from a recognized institutionMinimum 3-5 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar roleProven expertise in Arabic cuisine and Middle Eastern cooking techniquesStrong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standardsExcellent knife skills and proficiency in kitchen equipment operationAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environmentStrong time management and organizational skillsEffective communication and teamwork abilitiesFood safety certificationPhysical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy itemsFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidaysFluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
