Description:At Saint Alphonsus you have the opportunity to make a difference.

We are looking for a new team member to join our Revenue Integrity department and help us ensure the medical services we provide are accurately documented and billed. This is the perfect opportunity for someone with an excellent eye for detail and a penchant for data digging!

This position is fully remote, with a Monday-Friday, 8a to 5p schedule.

Your Role:

Review & Capture: Dive into medical records to capture all charges for our revenue-producing departments, and stay updated on coding & billing regulations for all payors.

Accuracy Champion: Verify clinical documentation and charges, ensuring they are spot-on.

Reconciliation Guru: Perform daily reconciliation and manage any errors that pop up.

Audit Expert: Conduct regular audits to keep everything in check and compliant with billing regulations.

Collaborative Spirit: Work collaboratively with other departments when new services, procedures, or supplies are utilized.  

Continuous Learner: Stay updated on the latest coding and billing regulations to keep our operations running smoothly.


Requirements:

High School Diploma

2-3 years of experience in hospital or medical office setting experience preferred

Basic Medical Terminology and Anatomy. (Advanced classes in Medical Terminology and Anatomy preferred)

Experience with charge capture, reconciliation, error management operations

Preferred knowledge of Chargemaster, CPT-4 /HCPCS/ ICD-9 coding certification preferred
