Channel Sales Specialist

A vacancy exists at Nashua (Pty) Ltd for a Channel Sales Specialist, to be based in Durban, reporting to the Chief Sales Officer.

JOB PURPOSE

To act as a direct interface between Nashua (Pty) Ltd, Nashua Franchises and the Channel Sales.

REQUIREMENTS: 

Experience and Skills Required 

Matric. Qualification in Finance or finance related background is essential. Minimum of 5 – 8 years relevant experience in Channel Sales. Sound knowledge of Office Automation environment is essential.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Managing Sales Performance

Maximize performance of monthly sales targets, budgets and goals. Measure the sales team’s performance by monitoring the Sales Manager’s implementation and utilization of the following systems and procedures:  Titan – Weekly measurement of the sales pipeline in Titan and develop forecast from the Inform system. Measure the success rate from prospect to closure of the sale.  Increase Product Suite per customer by using Wallet Share report to gain more than one Product per customer. Within the Franchise existing customer base. Develop sales plan with the Franchise holder and measure conversion rate. Sales Projections – Utilize qualified prospects from Titan to supply Nashua (Pty) Ltd with accurate stock projections within budget, in preparation for the monthly E5 meetings.

Franchise Quarterly Business Review to look at profitability of the Franchise

Achieve revenue streams in print services, ICT and Energy services. Review franchise revenue per LOB taking into account the following: Revenue (ytd vs budget vs py) Gross profit (ytd vs budget vs py) Opex in total (ytd vs budget vs py) PBIT (ytd vs budget vs py) Debtors aging- current months and prior months Top 10 overdue debtors Stock aging

Implementation of Strategic Planning

Plan and capture (on Outlook) Franchise visitation schedule and agenda’s. Monitor Franchise Sales Manager’s implementation plan of budgets and targets through the Sales plan supplied by the Channel Sales Specialists. Ensure that Franchises are aware of all Nashua (Pty) Ltd initiatives, drives and systems and are optimally using or driving these to the full benefit of the Franchise.

Products

Drive the following products areas within the Franchises to their customers to generate revenue to both Nashua (Pty) Ltd and the Franchises: Print Portfolio ICT Portfolio Energy Portfolio

OTHER ASSIGNMENTS

To perform any assignments as and when requested to do so by any C-level Executive.
