This position reports to

Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities

You will be mainly responsible for:•Independent product selection and knowhow of complete offering portfolio.•Be go-to person for sales for technically complex cases and larger projects where product management expertise is required•Preparation of marketing material for digital offerings, advanced s and value proposition to promote offerings.•Ensure complete and timely quotes. Average response time for offers shall not exceed 2 days•Prepare technical and commercial offers for standard products and discuss with customer to finalize order. •Ensure we have professional templates and implement a consistent offering touch and feel to the customer motion as a whole.•Updating databases- (Customer, Supplier, Risk Review, ABB install base tools)•Co-ordinate with sales team to ensure ontime order booking, time sheet entry and revenues•Co-ordinate with partners for training, price list, offers and orders.•Participate in conferences, workshops, lunch and learn sessions and conduct training sessions for customers and key stakeholders•Support order handlers and project managers in execution where applicable•Provide support for receivables collection•High amount of accuracy and speed are needed to ensure ontime offering with zero errors.•High availability and responsiveness beyond working hours to support critical customer requests such as emergency shutdowns, warranty cases, failures and related immediate support requests.•Professional update for SFDC and sales tools to ensure propeor sales pipeline management.•Proper documentation for orders and contracts to ensure professional hand over to operations.•Contribute to sales winning strategy with best in class sales and technical support.•Prepare FCM and costing sheets in full alignment with sales, operations, SCM and controlling.•Working closely with sales in formulating strategies.•Strong collaboration with all business functions like SCM, Controlling HSE and operations.•Proactive approach to improve the process and performance.•Support in identifying new sales opportunities.•Set winning strategies, pricing, margins according to Division and Business Area Strategy.•Define, record and archive account plans for assigned accounts including player maps, contacts, risks, opportunities. Challenges and future investment plans in full coordination with sales team.•Support selling the full portfolio.•Support to achieve OR targets set with GM% planned – cost efficient solution offerings.

Qualifications for the role

2+ years of experienceComprehensive technical understanding of Motion portfolio.Understanding of commercial terms and conditions – defend and negotiate profitable and risk-free contracts as per ABB guidelinesGood team playerPreferably some knowledge about drive-motor communication protocols to support development of power train and ABB Ability offerings. Strong understanding of motors & drive as a systemRelentless ownership, dedication and thoroughness. Going the extra-mile and showing devotion for the missionFrench Speaker is a mustNorth Africa Region experience would be a plus
