Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain a highly effective sales channel strategy for a specified market (global/regional) to improve ABB’s market penetration and achieve its growth aspirations. Each day, you will plan and ensure the execution of the business area/division sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for the assigned channel in a profitable way with a focus on orders, revenues, growth, margin, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the related Channel Sales organization.The work model for the role is: Onsite This role is contributing to the Process Automation in Longmeadow. You will be mainly accountable for:• Implement the agreed channel sales strategy and budget. • Contribute to the identification & achievement of appropriate channels and targets. • Contribute to achieving key targets (e.g. volume, prices, mix) for the channel in the specified countries and segments. • Create detailed business plans, implement actions with regular follow-up.• Contribute independently to sales negotiations and negotiate frame agreements. • Identify and evaluate channel partners (as per agreed ABB policies and standards including digital and excitation), together with Sales Director & appoint them..• Regularly report progress against channel strategy, plans and budgets. • Conduct analyses on channel activity and takes ownership for solving problems • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams and execute those activities that require channel/segment partner participation. • Implement the planned communication, promotion and training activities in the channel/segment.• Customer relations: Drive strategic partnerships, develop personal relationships with partners, customers and other decision makers.You will join a high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Marketing5 -10 years’ experience in Process Automation and exposure working with Channel Partners.Strong experience in Energy and Process Industries.Proficiency in MS Office Excellent communication and presentation skills.Preference will be given to EE candidates.
