**Job** **Purpose:**
Change is inevitable and constant. As a part of the Global Communications & Change function, the Change Enablement team at Graphic Packaging plays a key role in ensuring transformations and strategic initiatives have the proper focus on people to drive adoption and deliver maximum results. We do this by leveraging a proven, flexible change enablement methodology and by designing a consistent flow of impactfulcommunications.
The Advisor, Change Enablement & Communications will work with project teams and stakeholders to develop employee-centric strategies that focus on improving speed of adoption, ultimate utilization, and proficiency of use of new tools or processes. **This role requires strong capabilities in change management and communications.** There is a heavy focus on communications strategy development and tactical communications execution for the projects and functions that we support directly.
This position is an excellent role for someone who is a self-starter looking to play a key role in implementing transformational change and creating communications for a global leader in sustainable consumer packaging. Success in this role will require some change strategy design within a framework, with more focus on execution of the strategy in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Candidates with comfort and agility in managing through ambiguity will be most successful in this role. **Major** **Duties:**
+ Lead the foundational activities of change impact and stakeholder analyses with key players to understand the landscape, culture, and people-side risk of the initiatives being implemented and use this to gain buy-in from stakeholder leaders for the scale and scope of the change strategy.
+ Use the analysis, along with GPI’s Change Enablement framework, to develop the Change Enablement Strategy that is tailored to the impacted audience and situation across three visible pillars:
+ Leader Alignment andMobilization:
+ Design and execute a project-specific plan to engage and empower mid-level leaders as key sponsors of the change, driving behaviors and communications from the top down.
+ Support leaders in managing resistance to change, driving adoption, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
+ Design and execute leader communications strategies that enable a change resilientculture.
+ Training:
+ Develop a training plan for the impactedaudience.
+ Coordinate training content development with project subject matter experts and implementation partners.
+ Evaluate training efficacy and update training plan and content asneeded.
+ Communications:
+ Develop communication plans to keep stakeholders informed and inspired throughout the change process.
+ Create a wide variety of communications for senior leaders (articles, email, posters, newsletters, etc.) with creativity, leader voice, and grammar accuracy
+ Writing, editing, document designing and publishing key communication materials for key audiences.
+ Deliver timely and relevant messages using various communication channels and measure the effectiveness and “pull-through” of those communications with qualitative and quantitative analysis.
+ Ensure project communications work seamlessly within functional communications strategies and frameworks already in place.
+ Execute the Leader Alignment, Training, and Communications plans with the use of a Change Network, stakeholder leaders, and the project team.
+ Design and execute specific activities to proactively surface people-side risks, issues, concerns, and dependencies to successful implementation; develop mitigation strategies to address these risks.
+ Develop and deliver communications and change activities and campaigns targeted to meet identified requirements to support the implementation of change initiatives and programs.
+ Leverage data and technology to measure the effectiveness of change and comms initiatives, identify areas of improvement, and make data driven decisions in an agile way.
+ Provide coaching, training, and support to leaders (from c-suite to direct line managers) to help them navigate through challenges and embrace their role as change leader.
+ Continually update your knowledge of Change Enablement industry practices and build change capability throughout the organization.
**Qualifications:**
+ BA or BS Degree in Change Management, Organizational Development, Organizational Behavior, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Communications, or other degrees with equivalent experience.
+ 7+ years of experience leading Change Enablement or Communications activities for enterprise-wide technology initiatives, preferably in a consulting, corporate, or manufacturing environment, with a strong track record of results delivering communications and change management programs.
+ Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy-to-understand business terms to all levels of management, including senior leaders.
+ Strong emotional intelligence with a passion for leading and coaching people throughchange.
+ Analytical mindset, with a people focus, and an ability to assess complex situations and develop practical solutions. Strong attention to detail.
+ Demonstrated ability to effectively lead cross-functional change, identify and cultivate key stakeholders, and build relationships to meet high priority business needs on time.
+ Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth, nimble and often ambiguous workenvironment.
+ Self-motivated, with a strong desire to learn and effectively apply learnings within an evolvingindustry.
+ Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines in an effective, discrete, and sensitivemanner.
+ Prosci ® certification (or other change practitioner certification)preferred.
**Relevant** **Experience:**
+ Experience within medium-to-large-scale organizational change programs related to implementing new systems, processes, and culture initiatives that have a significant business impact in a globalenvironment.
+ Experience managing and/or partnering with third-partyvendors.
