Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, performance and salary range at the time of the offer._ **Responsibilities** The Vice President, Chief Financial Officer for Ascension Medical Group formulates and oversees the organization's financial planning, policies and practices in collaboration with ministry-wide finance and Ascension executive leadership. **Responsibilities:** + Serves as a member of the executive team and provides leadership in formulating and implementing strategic initiatives. Recommends strategies designed to achieve financial, strategic, operational, and system-wide objectives and goals. + Plans and coordinates financial resources. Serves as liaison on financial matters among executive leadership, and management. + Monitors financial performance, conducts organization-wide performance improvement activities, and maintains financial plans and forecasts. Ensures that financial needs are met and that budgets and projections are completed timely and accurately. + Recommends strategies based on financial, accounting and industry trends. + Directs the organization's accounting, statistical reporting, budget, tax, and audit controls,standards, and activities. + Collaborates with the ministry-wide finance team to coordinate major projects and system initiatives.
