ShorePoint Port Charlotte is a 254-bed full-service facility with a care team comprised of roughly 900 associates, 100 volunteers, and over 300 physicians specializing in over 40 specialties. ShorePoint Health Port Charlotte is a full-service facility offering services in emergency care, primary stroke center, orthopedics and the only licensed obstetric and pediatric units in Charlotte County. The on-campus Southwest Florida Heart Center is an accredited chest pain center with PCI offering comprehensive cardiac services.

Requirements:

Certified Surgical Technologist through the NBSTSA OR NCCTCurrent BLS from the AHA or ARC

About the Job:

Maintaining the sterile environment of the operating room until the patient is brought to the recovery roomSterilizing the equipment and operating roomHelping with preparing the patient for surgery Gathering, counting, and arranging the equipment and surgical tools needed during the surgeryPassing surgical tools to the surgeon and the surgeon’s assistantCounting all of the tools and instruments used during the surgery
