SUMMARY

Ensures patients and patient care areas are prepared for examinations and office procedures, assists physicians with all aspects of direct patient care, performs procedures and other tasks involved in patient care, triage patient calls that come into the office. 

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS 

High School Diploma or GED required.   Requires certification or registry by American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), National Health career Association (NHA), or American Medical Technologist (AMT).   Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience preferred.
